Day 1: Casablanca
Begin your Morocco travel adventure when you arrive at Casablanca Airport and are welcomed to fascinating Morocco by your Berber Treasures Morocco Tours driver and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Casablanca hotel.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat
Today you holidays in Morocco really get underway. This morning your city tour of Casablanca introduces you this famous city’s principal sights including the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Then travel north along the Atlantic coast to your first imperial city, Rabat, the current capital of the Kingdom and a UNESCO world heritage site. During your city tour of Rabat you will visit the Oudaya Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, the old medina of Rabat and the medieval Necropolis of Chellah, situated in the ruins of the Roman town of Sala Collonia. Day 3: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
Today your visit your second imperial city, Meknes. Exploring this 17th century imperial capital you find Agdal Basin, Heri es-Souani (old granaries) and the old city’s famous massive gate of Bab el Mansour, the main entrance to the second Alaouite sultan, Moulay Ismail’s 17th century city. Then travel to the nearby ancient Roman town of Volubilis, a UNESCO world heritage site, to discover the ancient ruins which include some marvellous mosaics before continuing on to medieval imperial city of Fez. In Fez you experience a true Moroccan delight staying one of the gorgeous Fes riads. Overnight Fez riad. (Breakfast)
Day 4: Fez
Full-day city tour of Fez, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. Visit the UNESCO world heritage old walled medina, historical monuments (including Madrasa Bou Inania, the Kairaouine Mosque and Mihrab), famous leather tanneries, bazaars and souks (such as Souk Ain Allou (leather), Souk Attarine (spices), Souk au Henne (henna and kohl), Fes el Jdid, the exterior of Dar el Makhzen (Royal Palace) including the enormous Merenid gate of Bab Dekakene, formerly the main entrance of the royal palace, Mellah (the old Jewish Quarter) and enjoy the panoramic view of Fez from the late 16th century Borj Sud fortress. Overnight in Fez riad. (Breakfast)
Day 5: Fez
Continue your discovery of Fez this morning visiting sites such as the impressive Dar Batha Palace, lovely Jnan Sbil Gardens and the 16th century Borj Nord Fort with its interesting museum of historic tribal weaponry. Afternoon free time to explore more of Fez at your leisure. Overnight in Fez riad. (Breakfast)
Day 6: Fez – Ifrane (Middle Atlas Mountains) – High Atlas Mountains (Eastern Region) – Ziz Valley & Gorge – Merzouga
Today your tour of Morocco travels via Ifrane, Azrou and Midelt south to Merzouga. Passing cedar and pine forests, the route from Ifrane past Azrou crosses through the Middle Atlas Mountains and is one of the most scenic routes across this mountain range. Continuing on to Midelt you begin the climb into the Eastern High Atlas Mountains before descending along the road following the valley carved by the Ziz River into the fabulous Morocco desert. Here you can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful Ziz Gorge with its vast date palm groves. Making your way through the vast Tafilalt Oasis area you arrive to the desert Berber village of Merzouga and Morocco’s spectacular Sahara Desert sand dunes, the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes. Here you will rest for the night in a kasbah peacefully located by the fringes of the soaring Erg Chebbi dunes. Overnight in Merzouga area traditional kasbah. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 7: Erg Chebbi Deluxe Desert Camp
In the morning you explore the Merzouga area learning more about the culture of the Berber people of the Morocco Sahara Desert area. Your desert adventure in Morocco tours the local oasis areas, seasonal Merzouga lake and visits a local Berber family to share a cup of delicious mint tea before returning to your kasbah. After relaxing at your kasbah, in the late afternoon you are taken by 4-wheel drive vehicle to your Morocco deluxe Berber desert camp located in the eastern wilderness preserved section of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here you can take a camel ride into the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert to watch the sun setting over the desert or relax at your camp. Tonight is spent camping under the stars in comfort in your private deluxe Berber tent with private ensuite. Overnight in deluxe Berber tented desert camp. (Breakfast & Dinner) (Option to overnight at a Merzouga Kasbah.)

Day 8: Merzouga – Todra Gorge & Oasis – Road of a Thousand Kasbahs – Skoura
You can rise early to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes of the Moroccan desert. Departing the Erg Chebbi area after breakfast, you can visit the fossil area around Erfoud, some of Morocco’s rich fossil fields and quarries are found in this area. Your Morocco desert tours adventure now turns to the west toward Tingehir. Arriving to the Todra Valley you trace the path of the Todra River through the lush Todra oasis to the beautiful Todra Gorge. Continuing westward your Morocco travels you pass via the Berber town of Boumalne Dades to join the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Following the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs your Berber Treasures Morocco tour takes you through the Roses Valley to the lovely oasis village of Skoura. Overnight Skoura oasis area kasbah. (Breakfast)
Day 9: Skoura: Oasis Villages Excursion
Today you discover Skoura and some of the lovely traditional oasis villages of this desert region. Exploring this enchanting oasis area you find tiny villages and kasbahs old and new set amongst lush date palm, almond, fig and henna groves, including the 17th century Kasbah Amridil and the old kasbah homes of Berber, Jewish and Arab families. Return to your accommodation with some afternoon free time. Overnight in Skoura area kasbah. (Breakfast )
Day 10: Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains
This morning as you continue your desert heritage tour of Morocco travel along old merchant camel caravan trade routes to explore the oasis town of Ouarzazate, strategically located on the crossroads of the old desert caravan routes and nestled close to the High Atlas Mountains, and the stunning UNESCO world heritage ksar village of Ait Benhaddou. Ouarzazate has long attracted attention and interest, including by a Pasha who built magnificent kasbahs here, the French who established a garrison for the French Foreign Legion here during their colonial rule period and most recently this lush oasis town’s spectacular location nestled between the High Atlas Mountains and Anti-Atlas ‘ Jbel Saghro Mountains has made it the movie making capital of Morocco. Ait Benhaddou has some of the Atlas region’s most exotic and best preserved Kasbahs. Saying farewell to the desert of Morocco you begin your crossing of the western region of the soaring High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Your route through the High Atlas Mountains crosses the Tizi n’Tichka High Atlas Mountain pass, the highest pass through this mountain range. Descending through the mountains you travel to Marrakech, Morocco’s sparkling “Jewel of the South.” The wondrous old imperial city Marrakech is a highlight of all Morocco tours. Tonight you stay in the heart of the old medina (historic town centre) in one of the atmospheric Marrakech riads. Overnight Marrakech riad. (Breakfast)
Day 11: Marrakech
Full-day city tour of Marrakech with your expert local Marrakech travel guide. Your heritage tour of Marrakech showcases the city’s stunning past and allows you to immerse yourself in sights, sounds and smells of this captivating city. You explore the UNESCO world heritage old walled medina, La Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, Place Djemaa El-Fna with it magicians, story tellers and snake charmers and Marrakech’s famous souks and colourful markets. Day 14: Casablanca Airport
