09 Sep  Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains

This Deluxe Cultural Experience Group tour meets you in Marrakech city or at Marrakech Airport at the scheduled pick-up times.  Saving the wonders of Marrakech for your return you depart for your first destination, Morocco’s amazing High Atlas Mountains.   Overnight in High Atlas Mountains riad.

10 Sep  Day 2: High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Today your Morocco travel adventure sets out for the Morocco Sahara Desert crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest pass in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco.  Winding down to the Morocco Sahara Desert the first desert destination on your Morocco travel adventure is the spectacular UNESCO world heritage mud kasbah village of Ait Benhaddou.  Continue to the nearby desert oasis town of Ouarzazate set against the contrasting High Atlas Mountains backdrop.  Overnight in Ouarzazate kasbah.  (Breakfast) 

11 Sep  Day 3: Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate

Your Berber Treasures Morocco Tours excursion takes you along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Roses Valley to where the High Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert of Morocco merge.  Visit the striking Dades Gorge with its unique rock formations and picturesque village settings.  Overnight in Ouarzazate kasbah.  (Breakfast)

12 Sep  Day 4: Ouarzazate – D’ra Valley Oasis – Zagora

Continuing your discovery of the Morocco Sahara Desert your Morocco travel adventure follows the rugged Jbel Saghro Mountains eastward passing through oasis villages en route to Merzouga, a small Berber village situated at the base of the spectacular Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert sand dunes.  Overnight in Merzouga area kasbah. 14 Sep  Day 6: Erg Chebbi Desert Camp

Visit the Merzouga oasis and village area, the home territory of the Berber nomad “blue men”.   In the late afternoon your Morocco travel adventure immerses you in days gone by with a Morocco Sahara Desert camel ride into the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes to a Berber nomad tented camp.  Your sunset desert camel ride is led by your local Berber guide at walking pace.  Overnight camping in Berber nomads’ tents in desert camp.  (Breakfast & Dinner)  (Option to overnight in deluxe Erg Chebbi desert camp with private en-suited tent or if camping is not for you stay overnight in a Merzouga Kasbah)

15 Sep  Day 7: Erg Chebbi – Erfoud – Midelt – Middle Atlas Mountains

Today your Morocco holiday takes you north.  Following the path of the Ziz River through the town of Erfoud to the beautiful Ziz Gorge with its vast date palm groves you farewell the Morocco Sahara Desert as Berber Treasures Morocco Tours takes across the eastern High Atlas Mountains on your way to Midelt.  The final leg of your Morocco holiday itinerary today heads into the Middle Atlas Mountains.   Overnight in Middle Atlas Mountains hotel.  (Breakfast)

16 Sep  Day 8: Middle Atlas Mountains – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez

Continue your Morocco travel adventure visiting the UNESCO world heritage 17th century imperial city of Meknes.  Discovery the sights, including Bab el Mansour, Heri es-Souani and Agdal Basin.  Visit the ancient Roman town of Volubilis, Morocco’s most important Roman site and a UNESCO world heritage designated site with its mosaics and ancient buildings.  Berber Treasures Morocco Tours then takes you to one of the oldest medieval cities in the world, incredible Fez.  Overnight in Fez. riad  (Breakfast)

17 Sep  Day 9: Fez

19 Sep  Day 11: Chefchaouen – Tangier – Asilah

Today your Morocco travel itinerary’s first destination is lovely whitewashed Tetouan with its UNESCO world heritage designated medina and then onto the historic port town of Tangier on the Mediterranean coast.  Tour of Tangier ’s principal sights then travel way west along the Mediterranean coast toward the Atlantic coast and onto the charming Atlantic beachside town of Asilah home of the annual Asilah Arts Festival.  Overnight in Asilah riad.  (Breakfast) 

20 Sep  Day 12: Asilah – Rabat – Casablanca

31 Oct  Day 1: Casablanca

This Deluxe Cultural Experience Morocco group tour itinerary begins when you arrive at Casablanca Airport in time for the included complimentary group airport transfer and are welcomed to fascinating Morocco by your Berber Treasures driver-guide and transferred to our Morocco tour hotel. This afternoon your city tour of Casablanca introduces you this famous city’s principal sights including the impressive Hassan II Mosque, La Cornich and Mohammed V Square. 01 Nov  Day 2: CasablancaRabat – Asilah

Today your holiday in Morocco tours the historic north Atlantic coast.  Your first stop is the imperial city of Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom and a UNESCO world heritage site.
